Why does digital transformation matter?

In general terms I define digital transformation as "the integration of digital technology into all parts of a business, resulting in fundamental changes in the way businesses operate and how they deliver value to customers”

In addition, it is a cultural change that requires organizations to constantly challenge the status quo. This sometimes means moving away from lengthy business processes on which companies are built in favor of new practices.
For me, a digital transformation is really successful when an organization succeeds in adapting its business model in function of current and future social and market trends.

A business may take on digital transformation for several reasons. But by far, the most likely reason is that they have to:

It's a survival issue. In the wake of the pandemic, an organization's ability to adapt quickly to supply chain disruptions, time to market pressures, and rapidly changing customer expectations has become critical.

First and foremost it is important to know the mission, vision and strategy of your company. This is usually known, but sometimes not. In case it needs to be tightened up or undergoing a full review, we are happy to help you with this.

Step 3

Transformation plan

The next step is to draw up a digital transformation plan based on improving your financial results (Financial Health) on the one hand and increasing the efficiency in your organization (Organizational Health) on the other. When drawing up this plan, it is ensured:

- That broad support is created so that the plan can also be successfully implemented.
- That the plan is supported with the correct KSFs (Key Success Factors) and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
- That the plan is drawn up with realistic timelines
- That the plan takes into account the right priorities

In a second step your company will be screened in various areas
- The organization is being reviewed
- Processes analyzed
- Tools & IT infrastructure are mapped
- We get to know the people and the culture

It is important to report that the implementation of a transformation plan goes hand in hand with Change Management. 
Change in an organization must be properly managed so that its success can be guaranteed.
