What is change management?
Why Change management?
Change management is a methodology for changing people, processes and resources using certain methodologies with the aim of achieving better results.
In essence, change management is: Controlling or managing change.
This is different for every company, but does not alter the fact that it is important to pay the right attention to this. Below are a number of examples why change management is important and why so much attention should be paid to it
- You have a vision, mission, strategy and transformation plan but not the resources to implement these within your organization because you must simultaneously manage your ongoing business and effect change in parallel.
- People are just different. The willingness to change also differs from person to person. Some people need facts & figures as a conviction to participate, others need references more, others need personal involvement.
The proper use of change management effectively reduces employee resistance and increases the chance that the change process will be successful up to six times. In addition, change management is used to build the right change competencies within the organization, which is beneficial for a future change process.
